Casa Luz is situated on the beach half way between Termales Agua Caliente and the small island of Le Terco at the point of the bay. Casa Luz is a beautifully rustic 3 bedroom bungalow set back from the beach in a lovely garden full of flowers and fruit trees.

Ideally suited for large family group, the house can sleep up to 8 people with space for an additional couple in the casita at the back of the property. 

The house is entirely power via solar, including a large fridge freezer. Water is drawn from the local river in the hills out back and can be purified for drinking via filtration through a clay pot in the traditional manner.

The house can be rented fully catered with local dishes prepared by our house keeper. Alternatively guest can prepare there own meals or dine from one of a few local restaurants. It should be noted that supplies are limited to local produce such as fish, fruit and vegetables and if you do plan to cater for yourself it is sensible to bring some supplies from Medellin.  

The closest airport is in Nuqui about 45 minutes from the house by boat. There is a daily public service from Nuqui to Termales, about 1 kilometer down the beach from the house. Alternatively guests can request a private transfer directly to the house, weather permitting.

Direct flights are available to Nuqui from Medellin’s Olaya Herrera Airport via San German Express and other charter airlines.

During the summer months of July, August and into September, by far the leading attraction is watching the Humpback whales as they migrate to the region to give birth. Boat trips can be arranged to view the whales in what is an unforgettable experience.

Other activities include surfing, jungle hikes to waterfalls where you can swim in the clear cold water, or the hot springs of Termales.
